I am a PhD student in the Economics Department at KU Leuven, funded by a Fellowship from the Research Foundation Flanders. I also spent some time visiting the Institute for Applied Microeconomics (IAME) at the University of Bonn.
My research is in labor economics. I am interested in how individuals and firms perceive, and value, all kinds of job attributes. I study how their preferences are reflected in equilibrium outcomes, and how this is shaped by the structure of the labor market. To study these questions, I estimate structural models of search and matching, use causal inference methods, and conduct survey experiments.
